Project Schedule

Summary

a. Design

For the design portion of the schedule, most things have been going according to plan for the design phase. No major snags have been hit and it appears that the design is on track to be completed by end of the quarter. Articulating components are a major priority at this stage of the design process and will be a heavy focus in the coming weeks.

b. Construction

Although construction has not begun on this project, A general outline of what the construction phase will look like has been constructed and placed into an excel schedule. This schedule is the estimated time frame for major milestones in the construction portion of this project.

c. Testing

Testing of the bridge has began to come to a close. The bases of the testing includes the dimensional analysis of the bridge, currently also a 3D printed cube is being processed in order to test the passage of a vehicle within the bridge. The main scheduling issue with the bridge is that one of the nuts that secures the failure testing rig has not been shipped out which means an alternative method of acquiring this piece of material may need to be put into place in order to meet the deadline for testing the failure of the bridge. Other than this the testing is on track for completion.
